Loomis are looking for an experienced Shift Manager to join their branch in Birmingham. This is a full time, permanent position with fantastic career development and a competitive salary.
Hours: Monday to Friday – Rotating Early, Mid & Late Shifts, 1 Saturday in 4

Shift Manager (Transport)
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Branch Cash-In-Transit Operations, overseeing a team of Driver Guards & Vault Operatives and ensuring deliveries, collections & storage activities are made safely, cost-effectively and in accordance with customer service agreements.
You will champion our “Customer First” approach through product knowledge & understanding of the range of Loomis solutions, appreciating customer requirements and quality standards.
The role of a Shift Manager will require working flexibly and, as key holder, you will be expected to be available for out of hours alarm response on a roster basis.
About you
To be successful you will need:
- Experience as a Shift Manager (or similar level), with strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent numeracy and analytical skills with a high level of financial awareness
- Exceptional customer and commercial focus, with the ability to continuously review performance and professionally deliver customer satisfaction
The successful Shift Manager should possess a good level of operational management knowledge.
Experience of direct customer management and liaison is essential, together with the ability to demonstrate excellent leadership and people management skills.
We also have some specific security criteria that you will need to meet:
·You must be able to pass a criminal record check as well as a personal credit and ID check.
·You must also have a 10 year employment/unemployment/educational history that we can check and verify.
