Production Shift Manager
Salary up to £45,000

Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes has an exciting opportunity for a Production shift manager on a Monday to Friday, 6 pm – 2 am shift.
The Company: An FMCG manufacturing company based in Wiltshirethat operates within the manufacturing industry. Although the environment is fast-paced. It’s extremely clean with lots of space. Their products are distributed all across the UK to many of the leading supermarkets alongside the biggest names in food manufacturing. Our client is continuously improving, they have just added an additional £6 million worth of investments into their site and factory.
The Role:
- Build strong working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Production Manager to achieve the goals and objectives of the Factory.
- To have full accountability for the management of agreed budgets specific to your shift (labour and materials).
- Use factory KPIs to drive improvement activities and plans for the shift.
- Ensure that your shift is trained and competent against all the latest SOPs.
- Keep quality, health and safety and continuous improvement at the top of the daily agenda and measure these against the set KPIs.
- Ensure the site is always audit-ready.
- Manage, lead and contribute to a range of site projects when required.
- Develop a working environment that is free from intimidation, harassment and bullying; whilst promoting a culture of dignity and respect.
The Candidate:
- Previous production supervisor/management experience
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Ability to operate in a fast-moving manufacturing environment
- Experience in food or FMCG
- Food Safety Level 2
- HACCP
