Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship

Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship Birmingham, England

Arup
Full Time Birmingham, England 25200 - 32639 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

Please be aware that we can only accept one application during each recruitment period, so please only apply for the position that suits you best. If you decide to apply for a different role, please withdraw your first application before submitting the new one.

We are unable to offer Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship for this role. Therefore, you must ensure that you are eligible to work in the UK for the duration of the apprenticeship opportunity without our sponsorship in order for your application to be considered.

Launch your career with Arup:

Dedicated to sustainable development, Arup is a collective of designers, consultants and experts working globally. Founded to be humane and excellent, we collaborate with our clients and partners using imagination, technology, and rigour to shape a better world.

From your first day you'll join a welcoming community of experts, where everyone is supported in their career and encouraged to work towards an accredited qualification. You'll help us to deliver effective and professional services for a range of varied and high-profile clients.

Our Level 4 Advanced Apprenticeships:

Our apprenticeships allow you to study for industry-recognised qualifications whilst earning a competitive salary. As an apprentice, you will study with a training provider, such as a college, and combine this experience with real responsibilities in the workplace. Your study pattern could be day or block release, or via distance learning, depending on the course that you enrol on. A dedicated mentor will guide you through your personal and professional development. Level 4 Advanced Apprenticeships have a typical duration of three years, during which you will attain both a professional and academic qualification to further your career. Our apprentices are employed on a permanent basis, so you'll continue to progress with Arup once you've completed your course.

What we're looking for:

We're looking for apprentices that are curious about the built and natural environment and are committed to their personal development. We'll teach you the skills and technical knowledge that you need for a rewarding career in design and professional services, where you'll be part of a collaborative team that delivers excellence for our clients.

You should be available to start this opportunity no later than September 2023.

Data Analyst Apprenticeship

Within our Digital team is a chance to develop into a full-fledged Geospatial data analyst at the forefront of project delivery for Arup. Working with so many disciplines you will always be learning something new. One day you might be analysing the number of newts in a study area, whilst next day you could be modelling accident statistics. You will be using data to identify trends, values in qualitative and quantitative analysis to answer key decision-making questions for projects/business. You will also present data in visualisations to help understand the impact on the natural and built environment. For many of our projects we have a large amount of data to manage and maintain, which needs to be presented in user friendly formats for non-data minded readers. There will be projects and opportunities to put into practice the theory you learn whilst undertaking the course, bringing your learning (and data) to life.

We are looking for candidates with five or more GCSEs at grade C/4/5 or above including Maths, English and Science. A minimum of three A Levels or a relevant Level 3 qualification

What we offer you:

Beyond a great salary and stimulating work, Arup offers a range of additional benefits to its people. As a membership organisation, everyone shares in our success through a global profit share scheme. Our people also have access to a range of broader wellbeing benefits.

You'll have access to lots of learning opportunities including a structured Welcome Programme and ongoing development through Arup University.

Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to utilise your skills to improve the lives of the most vulnerable in the communities in which we live and work through Arup's Community Engagement programme.

Next steps:

Complete the application form, attaching any required documents. You will be asked for your role preference as part of this form. We'll be reviewing applications on a rolling basis. You are therefore strongly encouraged to apply in advance of the application deadline. Our assessment centres for this opportunity will take place from February 2023.
