Fraser’s Fish and Chips in Helston is looking for a shift manager.
Customer service and community are close to our hearts, an award winning business that cherishes sustainable practices and responsibly sourced fish, selling Cornish products where we can. We’re looking for a fun, neat and tidy personality to join our team and help us serve top notch fish and chips to the town of Helston.
The shift manager is a flexible position that can either be done on the counter or in the kitchen.
Working on the counter will include serving customers on the Takeaway , boxing up meals and handling orders from our click and collect system, and organising the staff.
Working in the kitchen will require a knowledge of Food Hygiene and workplace safety. Cutting, portioning, and frying fish. Serving chips, mushy peas/ curry sauce, chicken and more, cutting fish. Using our food safety management to cater for and serve Gluten free fish and chips.

We will provide training and necessary accreditation to work effectively, some experience preferred but not necessary.
Starting pay is £11.50 p/h, once training is completed it will increase to £12.50 p/h.
Fraser’s operates all year round, with the peak summer season being our busiest period. The ability to work under pressure and keep a cool head is essential. Occasionally we may ask you to wear a silly hat (You may refuse) . Uniform provided, Opening hours will increase as the season arrives.
