The role
As a SharePoint Administrator you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Working for the SharePoint Lead within Digital Solutions, you will provide support, implementation, and continuous reviews across our collaborative portal services.
Day to day:
- Responsible for supporting the deployments of SharePoint Online across the organisation
- Assist in the development, implementation, and continuous review of SharePoint sites
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and other working practices within SharePoint.
- Provide updates and recommendations to the SharePoint Lead and support implementation of any improvement actions.
- Proactively identify opportunities for further use of SharePoint within the business, championing its use and capabilities
- Be a resource of expertise in the development of SharePoint, ensuring continual improvement.
- Support training to teams across the business on how to use & develop SharePoint, tailoring to specific requirements
- Develop and maintain an excellent working knowledge of SharePoint and other collaborative portal services.
- Create and maintain system documentation.
- Configuration and management of managed meta data
Essential experience of the SharePoint Administrator
- A minimum of GCSE Maths and English at grade C or equivalent an NVQ3 or L3 in Business and Administration or equivalent
- Experience as a SharePoint Administrator.
- Ability to operate within a remote team, build relationships across the organisation and be self-managed to deliver outcomes.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and can work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices (Foundation qualified) and ISO20000
- Flexible and willingness to travel (some overnight stays may be required)
This role is based full time onsite at Bristol
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance level for this role.
