About Shared Services
Our Shared Services team deliver specialist processes that have a direct impact on the performance of Network Rail, our customers and suppliers. These services include payroll, recruitment and onboarding, payables, receivables, financial accounting, reporting, controls and compliance, and helpdesk support.
The HR Admin and Org Change team are an integral part to our business at Network Rail. They provide support with booking and tracking our employees’ medical competencies to ensure people are safe to do their job and assist with rolling out in cab safety system equipment for people using our company vehicles and therefore, play a key role in our safety vision of Everyone Home Safe Everyday. The team also preform various HR administrative tasks such as providing references as and when requested.
Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Shared Service Administrator in the HR Admin & Org Change team you will manage, triage and monitor emails received into team mailboxes and complete the daily KPI tracker as well as use additional data capture tools. You will have access to navigate through various case management systems and complete daily downloads of employee information for analysis, manipulation and upload to the appropriate Network Rail system in line with agreed SLA’s. As part of this role, you will maintain Network Rail’s organisational structure and produce system exception reports with the use of Excel.
In addition, as part of the role you will create and send daily bulk uploads as part of our employee medical programme, complete employee references in line with Network Rail Policy requirements and assist with the distribution of in cab safety system equipment. You will support the financial data maintenance of the main Network Rail internal system and play a role in the creation and maintenance of our Standard Operating Procedures and process maps.
Other aspects of the role include, regularly liaising with our employees, including line managers and other stakeholders to effectively respond to various team related queries, contributing to regular team huddles, presenting team updates on workloads and highlighting any issues.

Salary range: £21,000 per annum
