Title: Service Support Assistant
Hours: 36 hours
Salary: £20,404.80 (Subject to Job Evaluation April 2023)
Reporting: Service Support Co-ordinator
Contract: Permanent
Following recent business growth we are looking for suitably experienced individuals to expand our service support pool. The role will involve welfare phone calls and working within a team providing effective, efficient and responsive administrative services.

Job Purpose
To provide responsive support services, including front of house activities, to the organisation
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide resources to ensure service needs are met
- Update designated systems to ensure records are accurate and up to date
- Conduct customer interactions and respond to queries to meet the needs of the business
- Apply the consistent application of relevant policies, including safeguarding, health and safety and equality and diversity to ensure a compliant organisation
- Undertake any other duties to meet team and organisational objectives following consultation with your manager

- External – Partners, clients and visitors
- Internal – Staff and volunteers
Experience
- Demonstrable experience of verbal and written communication in education, volunteering or employment
Knowledge
- Awareness of safeguarding legislation and guidance, and the boundaries of professional relationships
- Awareness of health and safety requirements
Skills
- Primary skills in Microsoft Office and database systems
- Primary ability to pass information accurately and concisely
- Primary ability to record information with a high degree of accuracy
- Primary communication skills with a variety of audiences
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills

Additional requirements
