As an experienced Service Manager with a flair for enterprise you will lead our team of skilled workshop coordinators to deliver supportive, high quality, cost effective and person centred service in Aberdeen and make it a great place to work for our colleagues.
Rose’s Social Enterprise - Aberdeen
Rosie’s Social Enterprises operates Monday to Friday with a staff team of eight to provide vocational training, support and work experience to people recovering from mental illness or who are living with an acquired brain injury. We are currently looking at ways of opening up our services to people with a learning disability.
Rosie’s offers a variety of placements including:
- Picture Framing where people can develop the skills to make bespoke hand-crafted picture frames
- Craft Workshop creating high quality craft products, textiles and cards to stock our gift shop
- Graphics offering opportunities to gain experience in graphic design using professional software and specialist equipment
- Rosie’s Café, based in the Tillydrone Community Campus providing retail, catering and front of house work experience placements
People on placement at Rosie’s are supported to develop both existing and new skills whilst receiving one-to one person-centred support. Placements are tailored to meet the needs of each person, build on strengths of the individual and provide meaningful, real work experience in a professional and friendly workplace environment.
We work collaboratively with service users, wider care teams and many other organisations to offer the best possible holistic support.
