As a Barclays Senior Operations Manager, your role will involve leading both BAU performance as well as working with internal technology teams and stakeholders to drive the strategy of Financial Crime Testing and/ or Data Monitoring within the Data Analytics function. You will Lead strategic initiatives for implementation into Financial Crime Screening tools to improve control framework.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. • Leading and coordinating the analysis, testing and documentation of Compliance Assurance
- Supporting the re-engineering and improvement of business processes
- Ensuring continuous development of Best in Class tuning and/or testing models
- Responding to ad-hoc requests and communicating the results of any analysis, trends and MI to a range of audiences
- Assisting with ad-hoc and regular requests from First, Second and Third Line of Defense teams
- Leading and managing Work stream Leads who manage sub-activity, demonstrating leadership qualities
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills to support department and work with a diverse range of colleagues across multiple sites
- Excellent presentation skills with ability to explain sophisticated solutions and technical activity to a non-technical audience
- Proven ability to apply problem solving, continuous improvement and seek best in class practices for tuning and/or testing function
- Proven experience in FircoSoft and/or Oracle
• Detailed knowledge of FircoSoft and/or Oracle primary and secondary layers of Screening
- Broad experience in modelling tools such as FircoSoft FFF Classic and/or Oracle Director
- Proven experience of FircoSoft Mapping
- Proven experience of Oracle Feed Formats
The Bournemouth Wealth Office is located between Bournemouth and Poole with Sandbanks beach no more than 500 metres from the front door. We have a significant number of restaurants and sports clubs locally which make this a great office to work in. We work very closely with our BUK colleagues and share the growing Barclays Eagle Lab on site. This creates significant interest across the region and provides an opportunity for the teams to get together regularly.
