Job Title: Service Manager

About the Trust

The Trust is one of the largest specialist mental health providers in the country, providing inpatient and community-based mental health care for people living in Bolton, the city of Manchester, Salford, Trafford and Wigan, and a wide range of specialist mental health and addiction services across Greater Manchester, the north west of England and beyond.

What you’ll be responsible for:

· Responsible for managing a wide range of community and inpatient services.

· Responsible for leading on identified work areas and projects across the Trust as determined by the Care Group Leads and Head of Operations

· Attend and positively contribute to the business and strategy meetings of the Trust as determined by Head of Operations.

· Work with the Care Group Leads and Head of Operations across the Division to ensure that services are developed in line with population needs, service demand and agreed national and local priorities.

You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You’ll have the following skills/experience:

· Excellent communication skills- both verbal and written

· Microsoft office skills- Outlook, Word, and Excel

· Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

· Experience within a health and social setting

· Experience as a practicing professional in a mental health environment

· Previous managerial experience
