Ron MacGillivray Chev Buick GMC in Antigonish, N.S. is seeking a successful, enthusiastic, team oriented Service Manager to join our team. Service Manager's Job
- manage all service department team members including technicians and advisors
- manage customers through service interactions
- produce and provide reports including repair and maintenance and financial components
- provide highest level of customer service with a sales-minded attitude
- develop lasting customer relationships
Job Duties;
- effectively manage team members to ensure team objectives and sales goals are achieved
- display extensive working knowledge of industry standards and practices including product details and company services offered
- offers exemplary customer service, including maintaining customer relationships and ensuring repeat customers by upselling products and services
- dealing with any customer concerns or complaints quickly and professionally with a high attention to detail
- develop working knowledge of industry regulations, restrictions, and laws and ensures service department adheres to all regulations
- maintain service and managing service desk team members while continually evaluating efficiencies and process
- resolve service desk problems and improve methods to increase productivity and customer services
- monitor department issues and client complaints to define patterns and work to lessen and reduce any recurring issues
- regularly audits work being done and customer service being provided to ensure all standards are met and that repair work is carried out effectively, correctly and thoroughly
- oversees team members performing inspections, preparing reports and where necessary provide coaching and training to ensure the highest quality of work
Skills and Qualifications;
- previous service experience and comprehensive industry knowledge
- management experience a definite asset with strong customer-facing skills
- strong written and verbal communication abilities
- self motivated with creative problem solving techniques
- engaging personality with ability to provide strong, consistent leadership to mentor team member
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $55,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
