The Opportunity: A superb opportunity for a Service Manager who is ambitious and driven, to manage the Service department at one of our client’s multiple branches. Reporting directly to the Branch and Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient running of the Service office, covering Agricultural and both professional and domestic Horticultural machinery repairs. You will also be responsible for the organisation and management of the service staff, customer relations, and the departmental profitability, alongside maintaining effective and accurate communications between management, customers, and technicians.

Skills Required
Essential
- Familiarity of profit/loss management and reporting
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal diplomatically with customers during busy periods
- Can remain calm under pressure
- Must be organised and have the ability to multitask efficiently
- Able to deal with staff related matters confidently and in line with company procedures
- Proactive and methodical in approach to problem solving
- Act with discretion when dealing with matters of a confidential nature
- The ability to manage customer expectations without over-committing
- Able to work alone, and on your own initiative
Desirable
- Knowledge of Agricultural, Construction and or Horticultural machinery sectors
- Previous management or supervisory experience
