Wellbeing and Public Health (WPH) are seeking an experienced and motivated business manager to join our team. Wellbeing and Public Health offers you the opportunity to work in a service that is committed to reducing health inequalities across Cornwall and the IoS by contributing to a wide range of projects and service areas.
As the Wellbeing and Public Health Service Manager you will work closely with the Director of Public Health and the Senior Leadership Team to ensure that the Wellbeing and Public Health Service runs as effectively as possible, specifically
- Ensuring the Public Health grant is monitored and spent appropriately
- Being the key contact between WPH and internal colleagues including Information Services, Finance and HR
- Taking a lead on specific areas to support the service that includes, budget management, information governance and health and safety.
- Overseeing the delivery of one -off projects across the breadth of the service.
- Providing leadership to the business support team, and promoting an inclusive and positive staff culture.
- The right candidate will have extensive experience in a business support management or service management coupled with a knowledge of Public Health or Health Improvement.
Alongside this our service manager should gave a can-do attitude to solving problems and managing projects.
This post is offered for 37 hours per week.
