Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time Proofreader and Caption Writer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and correcting written content for accuracy, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting. Additionally, you will be tasked with creating engaging and concise captions for various brands.

Responsibilities:

• Proofread and edit a variety of written materials, including articles, blog posts, social media posts, marketing materials, and other documents, to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting.
• Create compelling and concise captions for images, videos, social media posts, and other media content to enhance engagement and convey key messages effectively.
• Collaborate with the content team to ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Conduct research and fact-checking to verify the accuracy of information presented in written content.
• Identify and correct any errors, inconsistencies, or ambiguities in written materials.
• Meet assigned deadlines and manage time effectively to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements:

• Strong writing skills with the ability to create engaging and concise captions.
• Familiarity with different writing styles and the ability to adapt tone and style based on the target audience.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

An English degree is not necessary but preffered.
