Job description

Due to growth and expansion across the department we have an exciting opportunity for a Service Management Coordinator to join our Service Operations Team. As Service Management Coordinator you will be responsible for all key operational duties within the IT Service team to ensure the efficient delivery of the ITIL practices. Working alongside the Senior IT Service Manager you will play a key role in contributing to a successful operation by delivering excellent administration duties across all aspects of the department.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing administrative support to the Senior IT Service Management team through arranging reviews and documenting minutes and agreed actions
  • Providing administrative support with our change management process
  • Supporting with annual audits and asset management and configuration practices
  • Creating and managing reports for stakeholders and management of SLAs

What you’ll need:

  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with all stakeholders
  • Ability to remain calm and work under pressure
  • Excellent organisational and co-ordinating skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Experience of working with ITSM tools is not essential but would be advantageous

We are a team of over 170 people with our HQ based in Wigan, Greater Manchester (WN3 5AZ). The role will be 37.5 hours per week working Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.
