The Role

Working within our film team, you will make projects happen, bringing together creative and production skills to deliver high quality results.

A blend of creative development project management and field producing, this role oversees all stages of production, from concept and creative development to production logistics to producing and, when required, some directing on set.

The role is well suited for someone looking to expand their experience of video production, while using their project management and creative skills.

  • You have a deep interest in telling stories, and knowledge of media platforms, trends and emerging digital technologies
  • You have experience of delivering a range of video work for clients, able to execute briefs and complete projects within budget and timeline.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your work will include:

  • Working with the senior producer and creative director to develop pitch decks, proposals and documents for winning work
  • Acting as lead contact with account managers, project managers and clients to manage and complete projects
  • Production management work including coordinating meetings, scheduling shoots, location scouting, managing budgets & release forms, storyboarding & scripting completing risk assessments and communicating with freelance crew and external personnel
  • Assessing and evaluating processes and projects to ensure growth and efficiency and improvement of our final output
  • Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices

Must Haves

  • At least 2 years as a commercial producer/creative (with agency experience or as freelance)
  • Strong knowledge and experience of video production process
  • Strong interpersonal, people management and time management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and highly attuned to detail
  • Positive, proactive attitude with excellent communication skills
  • A willingness to travel & occasionally work out of office hours.
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with experience in fast-paced, collaborative environments
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite

Desired

  • Ability to generate creative ideas
  • Some experience of directing interviews and models
  • An excellent storyteller – able to demonstrate knowledge for creating and communicating content to tell stories in a compelling way

What we offer

  • 35 hr week with the option to compress to 4 days - Full time hours are 35 with core operating hours of Monday - Thursday 9.30-4. Many of our team use this flexibility to regularly take Fridays off.
  • Hybrid and flexible working - we don’t encourage fully remote working and expect our team to be able to travel into the office a couple of days a week, however each case is considered individually and we are always happy to chat.
  • Enhanced annual leave - 30 days annual leave pro rata. We don’t recognise bank holidays so you’re free to use the 30 days when suits you. On top of your 30 day allowance we close the office between Christmas and New Year allowing additional days off for all of the team.
