Service Development Support Officer

Location: This role ideally would be based in our site in Hawthorn/Corsham but can also be based at other Airbus Defence and Space offices within the UK (Newport / Portsmouth / Stevenage), although regular travel to the Hawthorn site would be required.
Security Clearance: Must have been a UK resident for a minimum of 5 years to gain the correct level of UK SC Security Clearance to undertake the role

Reporting directly to the Head of Service Growth, the Service Development Support Officer (SDSO) will assist Service Development Managers (SDM) in maximising order intake through incremental business from existing contracts. You will achieve this by managing the administration and coordination of proposals/bids for new service instantiations within the Skynet Service Continuity Contract (SSCC). In doing this, you will help reduce the workload on SDMs, thus creating additional capacity to process Change requests.
How you will contribute to the team
Provide administrative support to operational, business and financial processes, including Workflow and Document Management System support.
Produce operational data in support of contract Key Performance Indicators for management reviews, reports and audits.
Prepare and coordinate operational task documentation to support change tasks.
About you :
A naturally organised individual who has a good level of basic IT knowledge as, although this isn’t a technical role, you will be working in a technical environment on a day to day basis
An effective office administrator with a good working knowledge of customer and staff relations
Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and document management.
A methodical approach, with strong attention to detail, with an ability to work accurately and at pace
Good communication skills, able to converse at all levels and promote good relationships with internal customers and external organisations whilst encouraging a positive security culture
