Job description
To work as part of the Placement and Procurement Team, part of the wider Rapid
Rehousing Team, to ensure that void properties are ready to relet as quickly as possible,
to a consistent agreed standard and to respond quickly to changing and urgent priorities
of the Housing Needs service, working collaboratively with colleagues across the
department to support the objectives of the team; homelessness prevention, rapid rehousing and excellent customer outcomes.
To provide support to residents when required, including delivery, removal and storage of
furniture and other belongings as required. Ensuring excellent customer service is
delivered at all times.
To ensure the security and maintenance of temporary accommodation properties, and
grounds, including the prompt reporting of any issues with property or residents to
Officers.
To undertake appropriate repairs to property, within the post holders capabilities.
To be open to change, ready to explore new and different approaches, testing and
learning to improve, with a passion for providing a great service to people in housing
need.
To have a positive attitude to problem solving and openness to new ways of working. To
show resilience and flexibility and a continuous desire to improve service delivery.
