Job description
We are a leading manufacturer of protective covers for leisure vehicles and cars, based just outside the City Centre of Bradford. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Customer Service Administrator to work in our sales office. The role is based within a small team, so the ability to work independently, diligently and assist colleagues is essential. The role primarily involves -
- Providing quotations to private and trade customers - over telephone and email,
- Processing customer orders and card payments,
- Account management of trade clients,
- Handling customer complaints and resolving issues,
- Attending sales exhibitions,
- Updating in-house CRM and Microsoft Excel databases,
- Other administrative duties, such as filing, post and reprographics.
As we attend sales exhibitions across the country, the successful applicant must be available for overnight stays away from home, twice a year, which may encompass weekends.
Job Type/Category
The role will be primarily office based (other than sales exhibitions) on a full time permanent basis (pending successful completion of probationary period).
The office hours are Monday to Friday - 9.00am to 17.00pm (breaks included)
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Knowledge of the caravan, motorhome or car industry would be preferred, although full product and process training will be provided.
The successful candidate must have the following skills and experience -
- Have previously worked within an office based sales administration role or similar
- Experience in handling complaints
- Demonstrate ability to multi-task
- Good knowledge of Microsoft packages - particularly Excel
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to deal with customers over the telephone and face to face.
- Able to demonstrate following processes and procedures
- Ability to attend sales exhibitions (overnight stays away from home required twice a year).
