SEO Freelancer (5 years experience) - Increasing Website Conversions through organic traffic & SEO strategy.

We are an independent eye clinic in North London specialising in eye care for all ages. As part of our expansion efforts, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEO Freelancer to join our team on a project basis. This role is ideal for an individual with a proven track record of increasing website conversions through strategic SEO techniques.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to drive organic traffic and improve website rankings.
Conduct detailed keyword research, analysis, and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for optimization and content creation.
Optimize website content, including meta tags, headings, URLs, and internal linking, to improve search engine visibility and rankings.
Conduct technical SEO audits and provide recommendations for website structure, navigation, and user experience improvements.
Stay up to date with industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and best practices to ensure effective SEO strategies and tactics.
Collaborate with the content team to create and optimize high-quality, keyword-rich content that engages and converts website visitors.
Implement and manage link building campaigns to increase website authority and referral traffic.
Collaborate with web developers to implement on-page and technical SEO recommendations.
Continuously test and optimize landing pages, conversion funnels, and website elements to improve conversion rates.
Utilize data-driven insights to identify gaps and opportunities for improving website conversions and user experience.
Monitor and analyse website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms and provide regular reports and insights to track progress.
Provide recommendations for website and conversion rate optimization based on user behaviour analysis and A/B testing.
Qualifications and Skills:
-Minimum of 10 years of experience as an SEO professional.
- Healthcare experience is required
- Experience of SEO in a healthcare/ eyecare market
-Proven track record of successfully increasing website conversions through strategic SEO initiatives.
-In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
-Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, etc.
-Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyse trends, and draw actionable insights.
-Solid understanding of on-page and off-page optimization techniques, including keyword research, content optimization, link building, and technical SEO.
-Experience with website analytics and conversion rate optimization tools.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
-Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
-Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
