Role Overview


We are looking for a Security Officer to join our team at Ruskin Square in Croydon. This position is to work 48 hours per week Friday, Saturday and Sunday day shifts and Monday night shift paying £11.95 per hour. You will need to deliver an excellent level of customer service at all times and be a confident person who can communicate well with clients and customers. A good level of IT skills are required as well as a frontline SIA and a CCTV license - training can be provided.


As a Security Officer at G4S, you are more than a Security Guard. You’ll ensure the safety of our customers, occupiers, visitors, staff, their buildings and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure
environment, presenting yourself in smart G4S provided uniform attire at all times.


It’s a varied role that includes greeting staff and visitors and ensuring they adhere to the required security protocols, conducting searches where required, patrolling the premises and dealing with security incidents. Being the first point of contact for client and occupiers enquiries. With a keen eye and a brilliant

About you



You will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. It would be a benefit to have some security experience and your SIA license.
