Job description

Tug requires an SEO Digital Marketing Executive with minimum 6 months experience to join our growing SEO team.

We are a Digital Performance Marketing Agency, with offices in London, Berlin, Sydney & Toronto. We have a wide range of clients across many interesting verticals. With roots in search marketing, our approach is grounded in Performance, Media and Creative, which is enhanced by data insights and driven by technology. Tug analysts plan across our mix of digital marketing services, to create significant commercial advantage for our clients.

It's an exciting and fast-paced role that will give the successful candidate exposure to digital marketing campaigns across a wide range of industries. The role initially focuses on developing skills within SEO link building, however, as our team provides end-to-end services to our clients (outreach, on-page and technical), there’s lots of opportunities to get involved if you have a particular area of interest, or want to try something new. The executive will be joining a fun and social team who have a diverse range of interests and expertise.

Main Duties

The Exec will work on client’s SEO accounts including planning and execution. The role includes:

· Working in partnership with the outreach team to build links for various clients across healthcare, travel, Fintech and E-commerce.

· Carry out research to identify link building opportunities and build relationships with journalists and publications.

· Help formulate and progress client outreach and off-page content strategies to build links.

· Create and nurture new relationships with online publications, influencers and journalists.

· Work with the content team to create engaging content and Digital PR campaigns to aid in link acquisition goals.

· Monitor and report on campaign performance and online mentions

· Ensure all campaigns run in line with the overall SEO strategy

Skills, knowledge, and experience required:

· Any existing SEO knowledge would be highly valuable, with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn

· Strong verbal and written communication skills - you'll have the opportunity to work with, and build relationships with, interesting clients, journalists and industry specialists so being a good communicator is key

· Creative thinker– confident developing and sharing own ideas

· Problem solving skills

· Proactive and happy to work independently

· An understanding and appreciation for SEO

· Able to work to targets in a fast-paced environment

· Experience to efficiently manage your time and understand how to prioritise workload.
