And now we are on the lookout for an ambitious SEO Consultant to join our team and play a key role in scaling the agency’s Organic proposition. In this role you will be working alongside some of our biggest clients, forging relationships with key stakeholders, developing SEO strategies that utilise multiple digital touch points.


The skills and qualities we’re looking for:


  • Acting as the lead SEO contact on a wide variety of client accounts, including our largest retainer clients, ensuring best practice is being carried out
  • Managing SEO strategies end-to-end, from researching and planning, through to implementation and execution to tracking and reporting.
  • Work towards organic search optimization and ROI maximisation
  • Performing ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of organic opportunities
  • Conduct technical SEO audits, identifying issues & fixing them
  • Analyse on site and long form content to identify grow gaps or content form not complying with Google recommendations
  • Using internal and third-party tools and Microsoft Excel for results reporting and data analysis, to build client reports, and for internal use in campaign planning.
  • Confident presentation skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients
  • Identify possibilities for new clients and up-sell when appropriate
  • Identify key SEO KPIs that can improve conversion and monitor redirects, click rate, bounce rate, and other KPIs
  • Prepare and present reports regularly
  • Good understanding of marketing theory and tactics
  • Identify our buyer persona to better target identified audiences
  • Identify problems and deficiency and implement solutions in a timely manner
  • Suggest improvements for process and productivity optimization
  • Work with web developers and marketing teams to properly implement SEO best practices
  • Stay up to date with the latest SEO and digital marketing latest trends and best practices
  • Work with digital PR and content teams to develop and implement link building strategies and build clients’ brand visibility
  • Work with the creative team to ensure SEO/UX best practices are being implemented
  • Work with the paid media team to develop integrated search strategies for clients
  • Work with external developers to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on client websites we have not built in-house
  • Identifying service improvements and contributing to the objectives of the SEO department and Identifying opportunities to drive innovation within the department
  • Presenting results and case studies back to the business

Requirements


  • Minimum of 3 years experience as an SEO specialist in an agency environment
  • Fully accredited as appropriate, including relevant professional qualifications
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other team members from across the agency across multiple departments
  • Gives effective constructive feedback to team members and other staff whenever required
  • Stay curious, keeping up to date with SEO industry trends and developments
  • Motivation and a self-starter
  • Adaptability
  • Commercial awareness
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Administrative and organisational skills
  • IT proficiency (Mac, GSuite, Slack, etc)
  • Excellence using industry tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and Semrush
  • Accuracy both in terms of grammar and information management
