A super Senior UX Designer looking to be part of building something incredible, directly impacting the NHS perhaps?
Our goal is to deliver high quality, intuitive digital experiences and you will be instrumental to making that happen! As a Senior UX Designer, working across our NHS SBS portfolio of products, sites and services, you will be collaborating closely with product teams, playing a valuable role in designing user experiences.
Playing a key part in establishing and understanding the needs of our users, you will advocate an evidence-based approach to support design decisions. Helping to advise the strategy, objectives and critical metrics for each project, the use of your core UCD and UX skills to build innovative impactful solutions will be vital.
As an advocate for user experience design, The Senior UX Designer will drive the awareness and adoption of user centered design processes across NHS SBS.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading on and defining user experience, principles, approach, and planning on cross team projects.
- Translating requirements into design solutions, wireframes, prototypes and user journeys.
- Designing digital products that solve user problems and deliver the goals of NHS SBS.
- Facilitate workshops to identify user and business requirements.
- Collaborating with product, agile delivery teams in defining requirements and producing user stories and supporting assets.
- Coordinating and delivering user testing sessions and ensure customers are integral to the design process.
- Ability to lead, coach and mentor a small team
What you’ll bring:
- Demonstrable experience within a similar position within a senior capacity, expertise in UX design, wire framing, prototyping and mapping user journeys, alongside using UCD and service design processes and techniques.
- Working understanding of facilitating workshops to support requirement gathering and idea generation.
- Expert knowledge of prototyping and design tools such as Figma, Miro.
- Solid understanding of a UX toolkit
- Strong stakeholder management, ability to lead on projects
- Line management knoweldge
It would be great if you had:
- Public sector experience.
- NHS experience

Salary: circa £55,000 per annum (salary dependent on experience and development needs)
Benefits: £5,400 car allowance, 25 days annual leave with the option to buy additional days, private medical, life assurance, pension, and generous flexible benefits fund
