Senior Temporary Accommodation Officer Grade 8
In this role you will manage Cheshire East’s emergency accommodation, ensuring that households are provided with the necessary support both in the hostel and in any other temporary accommodation provided by the Council. To be responsible for the general maintenance and health and safety at the hostel building. The role will offer a supervisory role to our temporary accommodation support staff and managing their time.
Our temporary accommodation service has grown to meet the needs of our customers that come through our service and this is an exciting opportunity to join us and be part of developing the service. This role will be based at Roe Street Temporary Accommodation in Macclesfield however there will be travel needed across the borough to our dispersed units to ensure these are also being managed and supported.

The post holder will have a supervisory role in managing our statutory temporary accommodation service for homeless families and singles alongside our support staff. This a fantastic opportunity for someone to progress or further their skills in housing and homelessness in a thriving housing options team. The role will be managing the day to day running of our temporary accommodation and the residents as well as their move on to more sustainable accommodation.
The service is 9-5pm Monday to Friday although some flexibility is needed due to the needs of our customers.
Grade.8 start pay of £31,000 to £34,723 with an incremental yearly pay rise.
Full Clean Driving Licence is essential
DBS provided.
