Manor Collection is a small group of hotels, with properties in Surrey and Kent. We are currently looking to recruit a Housekeeper to join our team at the busy Reigate Manor in Reigate, Surrey.

This role is offered on a permanent basis at 30-hours per week.

You will be responsible for hotel public areas, bedrooms, corridors and other areas delegated from the management team.

Job responsibilities:

• To clean the public areas on a daily basis.
• To ensure the housekeeping sheet is managed in the correct manner as set out by the head housekeeper.
• To make sure each room is cleaned and checked as the specification of the management.
• To look after the laundry for the hotel. This will involve the counting of items as well as the process required in completing the daily usage sheets.
• To look after the high standards required with bedroom cleanliness. These will be routinely checked by the management team on a daily basis.
• To ensure corridors are kept clean and tidy throughout housekeeping cleaning hours.
• To make sure the laundry room is kept tidy and sufficiently stocked up at all times Please ensure this happens on each floor.
• Ensure Zbeds are made up ready for any that may need to go out.<br> To ensure the additional laundry store cupboards are kept tidy and stocked up.
• To report all bedroom maintenance to the duty manager. If these cannot be rectified on the day then please report to the maintenance job book.
• To be in contact with reception on a frequent basis to report cleaned rooms for early check-ins, when rooms are ready to be cleaned and also if any rooms have not been cleaned as agreed with the duty manager.
• To be responsible for the washing of any items used with the hotel i.e. chair covers, large table cloths etc.
• To be responsible for requesting any stock to be ordered. These range from guest consumables, bathroom consumables and cleaning products.
• To be responsible for passing any feedback to management if pests have been present
• To ensure the fortnightly and monthly cleaning jobs are carried out. Ranging from bathroom shower curtains, bed skirting etc.
• Correct health and safety equipment to be used and worn whilst on duty. Please see management if unsure.
• All food to be consumed within specified break times.
• To wear uniform as specified by management. Please request any if required.
• To assist any guests where necessary.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: £10.50-£11.50 per hour
