Job Purpose
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual who is keen to take their next career step in a fast-paced and dynamic Client Services team, with a clear focus on delivering client excellence. Our Client Services team is growing due to the expanding nature of our business internationally. The role is based in our London office on a permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of and shape Oneglobal’s growing international network of offices. The successful candidate will have experience in working within a Non-Marine Client Services function and be able to provide valued experience and knowledge to ensure accurate and timely creation of global client and market documentation. The ideal candidate will have a valued input for proactively implementing process efficiencies and will be responsible for advising on complex global technical service matters, leading on all aspects of the Client Services lifecycle – including slip production, system input, debit note production and issuing market documentation.
Key Accountabilities
- Creation and preparation of market and client documentation (slip production, wording, clauses knowledge and geographical risk influences) in a timely manner
- Liaising with clients ensuring all queries, data requests and resolution of queries are dealt with promptly to ensure client satisfaction
- Subject Matter Expert for complex technical matters and queries
- Proactively partner with the broking team providing broker support, preparing renewal statistics/documentation ready for market placement
- Participates in a team collaboration approach to clients and markets to achieve outstanding service and client satisfaction
- Ensure client service delivery is continuously reviewed, monitored to achieve optimal client satisfaction
- Trusted support to brokers and clients on all elements of preplacement, placement and post placement
- Establishes and maintains business relationships with markets, clients and collaborates with colleagues to provide optimal service to clients
- Proactively provides coaching and guidance to team members and share technical expertise and knowledge
Skills & Knowledge
- Previous exposure to Non-Marine classes of business, with primary focus on either Property, Casualty or Construction
- Extensive contract wording and clause production experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, but equally comfortable working as part of a team, mentoring and coaching other team members
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of market dynamics and how this impacts on existing and potential clients
- Ability to analyse and dissect existing (re)insurance arrangements and to offer viable alternatives to the benefit of the client and organisation
- Well organised and ability to prioritise and multi-task in an ever-changing fast paced environment
- Strong knowledge of market and products with an ability to adapt these to client needs
- Previous exposure to Latin American and Middle Eastern business would be desirable
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
- Team player and willing to work flexibly and assist colleagues as required
