Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist (Early Careers and Experienced Hires) – Ratings, EMEA
The Team:
This position sits within our EMEA and APAC People Movement team (our Talent Acquisition team) for Ratings, which is a part of our global Ratings People Movement team.
The team is tasked with delivering all early careers and experienced hires recruitment for Ratings across EMEA and APAC (excluding technology roles). All talent acquisitions specialists in the region are currently assigned portfolios that include early careers and experienced hire vacancies. We are focused on collaborative, agile working practices.
The Impact:
This role will be multi-faceted; being the primary lead for Ratings early careers in EMEA, whilst also carrying an experienced hires portfolio in the region. It will deliver continuous improvements in the quality, time and cost of hiring and will be key in delivering business results. You will be an expert in your aligned portfolio and be able to provide two-way information sharing and close alignment with the Regional Lead.

Responsibilities:
Primary lead for Ratings early careers in EMEA. You will be supported in the delivery of Ratings early careers in EMEA by your Ratings talent acquisition peers.
Manage an experienced hires portfolio that may include a mix of analytical, commercial and/or operational roles (depending on business need).
Manage business, HR and counterpart (e.g. compensation, legal, compliance, global mobility) relationships within the EMEA region and on occasion the APAC region.
Strong relationship management skills, agility, and ability to pivot from one role to the next is critical for success.
Educate and influence business leaders and HR to change current practices, where necessary, and promote recruitment best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
A S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 5+ years’ of EMEA recruitment experience. This should include considerable in-house experience.
Previous experience recruiting for an early careers program in the finance, consultancy or professional services sectors, ideally for a program across the EMEA region.
Proven capability of managing an experienced hires portfolio, ideally having been exposed to analytical, operational and commercial hiring.
Strong business acumen combined with strategic business partnership and consulting which delivers tangible results.
Possess a good grasp of the global economic and financial landscape and its impact on our business.
Numerate and accurate with figures and detail-orientated, whilst complying with potentially tight deadlines.
Strong organizational skills and execution mind-set.
Computer literate having strong Excel/Word/PowerPoint and database application skills.
