Job description
Duties:
- Manage accounts payable and ensure timely payment of invoices
- Handle tax-related tasks, including preparing and filing tax returns
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Familiarity with governmental accounting principles and practices
- Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
- Perform account analysis to assess financial health and identify areas for improvement
- Conduct bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Proficiency in Quickbooks accounting software and MS Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Knowledge of tax regulations and payroll processing
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-20 per week
Salary: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
