Job Title: Senior Support Worker (Children’s Service)
Location: Great Barr B42
- Salary: £28,320 - £30,320 this includes an average of 6 sleep ins per month, sleep ins are paid at £60 per sleep
Hours: Average 40 hours per week
Contract: Permanent Care Perspectives is a specialist provider of care and support to children & young people who have complex mental health disorders, learning disabilities, and emotional and behavioural difficulties. Job Summary
Are you looking for a more meaningful and rewarding role for the New Year 2023, we are seeking positive minded, responsible, & caring people to join our fantastic team.
As a Senior Support Worker, you will provide leadership to the team always acting as a positive role model, manage rotas on a daily basis, carry out and complete daily shift planning and handover, provide effective supervision of your team in line with the Care Regulations, provide on call cover as arranged by the Home Manager. You will motivate, support and mentor the staff, you will carry out an essential and varied role to provide the individual support required by the children and young people in our care, complete relevant paperwork, and where appropriate administer medication.
You will create positive relationships with the children & young people, meeting their needs and always safeguarding them.

Qualification & Experience
- Experience in Residential childcare (Essential)
- You must hold a Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent
