Job description
Our team is multi-disciplinary and comprises of medics, nurses, health care support workers, psychologists, therapists, teachers, admin and support services who are committed to continued development and providing high quality care for young people and families. We offer assessment, collaborative care and treatment to help young people experiencing mental health difficulties including; low mood, anxiety, psychosis, eating difficulties, autistic spectrum conditions, young people who pose a risk to themselves, or where there is diagnostic uncertainty.
The Inpatient Lodges at the Becton Centre comprise of Sapphire, Emerald and Ruby Lodge.
Sapphire Lodge is a general adolescent unit and cares for young people aged 13-18 who are experiencing mental health, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Emerald Lodge cares for young people aged 8-13 who are experiencing mental health, emotional and behavioural difficulties and and is part of the national children's network.
Ruby Lodges cares for young people aged 8-18 with learning disability and severe and complex mental health and behavioural problems.
The STAR Team provide the supportive treatment and recovery service to young people up to the age of 18 provided by Sheffield CAMHS.
