This role will define our Social and Influencer strategies, lead the team that delivers, manages and analyses the activity. You’ll be part of a broader Customer function, getting to work collaboratively with Creative, CRM, Performance, Editorial, PR, Digital CX and Contact Centre teams to create and manage the end-to-end customer experience.
We use Social to reach and engage new and existing customers each and every day. Social is our always on broadcast channel, but it is also how we have a two-way dialog with our customers. The Senior Social Media Manager will;
- Refine the Paid Brand Awareness, Organic and Influencer strategies for UK, US and ROW markets
- Lead the team to develop, execute and analyse social strategies
- Work collaboratively with Creative, Brand, CRM, Editorial, PR and Digital CX teams to plan and execute campaigns. Ensuring alignment of campaign objectives and execution
- Create rich, engaging platform first content for our social channels
- Manage the social channel communities
- Build and maintain relationships with Influencers
- Manage agency relationships
Note: this role is a Fixed Term contract to cover maternity leave
What you'll be doing
- Lead the owned and paid social media strategies across multiple platforms and territories including Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube
- Oversee the seasonal social content calendar and ensure that activity is aligned to business and campaign objectives, as well as key social dates.
- Manage and scale our customer ambassador programme
- Work with the Creative and Editorial teams to formulate content plans and ensure social media channels are populated with platform first, fresh, interesting and innovative content for both organic and paid social
- Line manage the Assistant Social Media Manager assisting with the management of the Social & PR Intern where needed.
- Work with the relevant teams in the business to develop and implement the social strategy
- Lead the Influencer strategy and execution of short and long-term influencer activity with a focus on driving brand awareness and affinity
- Own the relationships with our Influencer Collective, across all key campaigns
- Continually seek out and monitor new trends and opportunities in social media landscape.
