Device Operations, Products and Services sits in the Consumer Business Unit (also supporting the Enterprise Business Unit) in Vodafone UK and has a reporting line into Vodafone Group Product & Services. The purpose of the team is to evaluate, build, deliver and manage in life market leading, profitable products & services which deliver great customer experiences, with end-to-end responsibility for all hardware and software products in Vodafone UK.
What will you be doing?
You will manage a team of 5, which owns our relationship with our largest vendor and is responsible for the quarterly/annual planning and negotiations process as well as the reporting across the Devices team. You will ensure we have the right products in the right place at the right time, driving exceptional results, and customer satisfaction.
You will work alongside other Products & Services teams and Commercial, Marketing, Digital and Sales teams to build collaborative relationships between various stakeholders, including Vodafone Group. You will own the UK handset strategy for the short and medium term, whilst providing input to the global handset strategy.
As a key member of the Device Operations management team, you will be leading a commercial data driven function providing the business with critical information to drive real time decision making. Working with some robust but very manual systems, you will look at methods of improving product flow, reducing cost and increasing service through the implementation of a robust S&OP process.

- You will be an excellent communicator and influencer with the ability to inspire at all levels of an organisation
- You will have experience developing customer relationships and building collaborative forecasting processes.
- You will have a proven track record of customer focus as well as achieving cost savings and business improvements
