Role: Senior ServiceNow Developer.

Note* Visa Sponsorship (Skilled Worker Visa) can be provided.

Job Type: Permanent Role

Summary: We are recruiting for a Senior Service Now Developer. The Consultant will need to be a highly experienced with hands on experience of designing and developing solutions, writing and maintaining efficient code using appropriate standards, and implementing unit tests, as well as working as part of a team to test and deploy the code to production.

Skills & Responsibilities:

• Experience in creating new configuration and functionality to the ServiceNow Production instance.
• Experience working in an Agile environment and familiar with Agile ceremonies.
• Consultant should be able to complete development user stories and escalate blockers to ensure development deadlines are met.
• Experienced working with Business Analyst and system administrator with hands-on experience creating and maintaining documentation.
• Have configured and supported ServiceNow features, applications and integrations.
• Have worked on complex integration as a part of a wider team.
• Experience of JavaScript within the ServiceNow platform with good knowledge of the Glide API’s.
• ServiceNow platform Certified.
• Understanding of Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Event, and Configuration Management, and correlated ITSM functionalities in ServiceNow
• Minimum 3 years hands on development experience on ServiceNow Platform.
• Exposure on ATF Configuring and maintenance.
• Have worked on 3rd line support for incidents and changes.
• Worked on different techniques and methods in analysing and resolving problems. Have modified existing processes to improve performance.
• ITIL qualified.
• Working experience with large scale organisations or public sector experience would be a plus.

Nice-to-have skills and experience:

• Working knowledge of Agile Development process.
• Understanding of Angular, HTML and CSS.
• Understanding of Integration Hub.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From £45,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Work Location: Hybrid remote in READING
