This is an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of our studio team, taking on the responsibility of delivering high-quality E-commerce and campaign imagery. You will join an amazing group of creative, self-motivated professionals working together as a cohesive unit to provide the full end-to-end process of asset retouching. This is a highly dynamic role that encompasses all areas of our in-house shoots.

What you'll be doing

You will be responsible for ensuring image quality, and supporting the day-to-day management of the Studio retouch team. With a strong technical ability in retouching. Your expertise in retouching will ensure that all our imagery is quality checked for the E-commerce gallery and campaign imagery. Ideally, you will have a background and experience in post-production and an understanding of the key processes and workflows of a retouch department for an online company. Working with the Studio Manager, you will identify any additional support required and respond to tight deadlines and projects.

  • Working with the creative team and supporting the studio manager in driving the most efficient workflow, achieving daily targets.
  • Manage external resources when required, briefing any external agencies and ensuring they are aware of the boohooMAN retouch brief and workflow.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly change priorities and embrace change with a positive attitude.
  • Be aware of core throughputs and understand that delivering quality and quantity is a fundamental metric for the department.
  • Support the implementation of new technologies and software to increase productivity.
  • Stay informed about potential opportunities arising from new equipment or process changes.
  • Maintain an active interest in the industry and understand the importance of online retail.
  • Take the lead on additional projects as required on an ad-hoc basis.

More about you

  • Experience in retouching, preferably within a fashion/ studio environment
  • Proficient in adobe suite
  • Flexible and enjoy working in a high pace, fast moving and changing environment and working to tight deadlines
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to change priorities quickly and accept change with a positive attitude.
  • Good networker and communicator and the capacity to build strong working relationships both internally and externally
  • Ability to work with others and able to influence and communicate effectively across all levels
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Commitment, drive and self-motivation
