Morgan Stanley is a leading global financial services firm providing a wide range of investment banking, securities, investment management and wealth management services.
- Managing a team of assessors who support business unit stakeholders to document and assess personal information processing activities, including the execution of privacy impact assessments, data transfer and material change reviews.
- The engagement with the Privacy Operations technology team (Product Owner) to maintain and improve the risk assessment platform, including providing business requirements and assisting with prioritization of changes.
- Producing program metrics and reports for Boards and Governance Committees globally.
- Partnering with the data protection officers, cyber and privacy legal, privacy compliance, information management, operational risk and the firmwide data office on initiatives impacting the privacy risk assessment program.
- Fostering continuous improvement of Privacy Operations services and collaborating with other privacy leaders to respond to rapidly changing privacy landscape.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience conducting privacy impact assessments
- Skilled experience in significant data protection and privacy experience
- Familiarity with global data protection and privacy regulations including GDPR, CPRA, etc
- Ability to manage global team and competing priorities
- Understanding of cloud, data loss prevention, masking and encryption
- Understanding of data ethics and AI/ML considerations
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Financial services industry experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to interact with senior management directly
- Experience with privacy tools and data analysis
- Experience interacting with data protection authorities or industry bodies
- IAPP / ISACA certifications a plus
