About Real World Health
Real World Health is a healthcare and life sciences data company that helps clients achieve sustainable improvement by better utilising their data.
In the healthcare space, we help our health and social care clients deliver the best possible care with finite resources; always delivering a high return on investment through innovation, know-how and a passion for sustained improvement.
We deploy complex flow and big data analytics solutions to cast a light on care pathway dynamics and solve some of clients’ biggest challenges. Our solutions support process improvement methodologies and focus on supporting clinical and operational decision making across our client organisations.
We are committed to building a diverse team who demonstrate passion, loyalty, and enthusiasm in everything we do.
Role Description
Successful candidates will be capable of fulfilling a number of functions, including:
· Building, maintaining, and developing client tabular models, data pipelines and Power BI visualisations
· Working closely with the Product team to build, test and deploy new client data models, features, and products.
· Advancing our deployment and DevOps capabilities, by working to best-practise development principles
Skills Required
We are looking for candidates with experience in a similar role, who can adapt to a diverse set of tasks and deal with ambiguity and change:
· 3+ years’ experience in a similar role working in a development team to DevOps and Agile delivery principles. We are a fast-growing company and are looking to improve on our approach and processesby adopting best practices.
· Comfortable with data modelling and structuring – We build models and tools that bring together data sets from lots of different places, often never used together before. A successful candidate will be able to comfortably understand how data is structured, how it can add value and how it can be ingested into existing and future tools to achieve client ambitions. This may also include creatively visualising the data to drive home insights and analysis.
· Attention to detail – The outputs of our models are used every day to make decisions about patient care, so it is imperative that they produce a meaningful, accurate representation of the systems they represent. Our solutions are intricate, and as we scale up, will require rigour and attention to detail to maintain their integrity.
· Structured thinking and prioritisation – Given our growth ahead, it is key to be able to structure problems, and stay mission-driven and focused on what will add the most value.
· Communication and collaboration – We work in a team of both technical and non-technical roles, so sharp communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts is key.
Technical Skills
Required: Power BI, SSAS, Tabular Object Modelling, DAX, Git
Preferred: R/Python, SQL, Alteryx
Note: Your application will not be considered without the required competencies, and these will be tested on application.
Personal Qualities
· This role would suit someone looking to work in a fast-growing, friendly environment where you have a high impact, and make a difference. Healthcare experience is not essential.
· We are a value-driven organisation focused on delivering great value and ROI to our, often resource constrained, clients. A successful candidate will share our values.
