About The Role
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours
Location: Head Office, Nottingham (flexible and Hybrid working available)
We have an exciting opportunity to join our growing Technology & Change team as a Senior PMO Analyst. We are amidst a key and exciting time with a large transformation agenda and we’re looking Senior PMO Analysts with a breadth of experience to support the evolution of our Change function.
You will support the delivery of the of the Society’s strategic priorities by providing direct support to projects, programmes, and the portfolio of change.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced PMO Analyst who can bring energy, pace and a drive for continuous improvement to this role and the team.
Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing as a Senior PMO Analyst -
- Be the Project management office lead on assigned projects or programmes including supporting change initiatives in the demand pipeline
- Analysis and production of management information and reports for senior management to support the successful delivery of the Society’s Portfolio of Change
- Identification and implementation of continuous improvement to project management governance documentation and processes
- Ensure that project and portfolio governance standards and policies are followed, recommending and undertaking remedial action in conjunction with project managers. Carry out health check reviews and provide feedback to projects and governance committees
- Arrange and facilitate key project workshops across the lifecycle of the project including RAID reviews and Lessons learned workshops or retrospectives
- Advise on the maintenance and planning of the resources required to deliver projects and programmes in the change portfolio to ensure the effective use of staff
What we’re looking for -
- An experienced PMO Analyst with relevant transferable experience
- The ability to produce high quality, accurate work within agreed timescales with the minimum of direct supervision and with the ability to understand detail of a complex nature and take the initiative to drive forwards continuous improvement
- Experience in coaching colleagues to develop the capability of the project management office
- Exceptional attention to detail
- A firm comprehension of professional best practice in project and programme management
- Strong stakeholder management skills, able to build strong working relationships across the business and with third parties, including influencing and negotiating skills
