Are you ready for a new challenge? We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and professional Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our Acute Medicine Team and develop their clinical and managerial skills at Peterborough City Hospital. The team consists of Physios, OTs and unregistered staff and is responsible for the assessment and treatment of a wide variety of patients and facilitating safe, timely discharges using D2A principles. - Clinical Specialist support

- Monthly regional Therapy Cluster meetings
- To enable Physiotherapy to provide Therapy Skills within the inpatient service
- To ensure safe, efficient and effective delivery of patient focussed care in line with identified evidence based practice, local and national standards
- To work collaboratively within Multidisciplinary and Multi-agency Teams
- To participate in delegated projects for service development with the team
- To act autonomously in the assessment and treatment of patients within the speciality who may have a complex presentation
- To demonstrate a flexible approach to working in support of the whole in patient/outpatient team
- To undertake weekend working as required within service developments
- To be available to provide Clinical Supervision
- This role entails 80% Clinical Contact and 20% Operational Management as appropriate within team requirements
- To guide Band 5 and support staff in the management and delivery of therapeutic care plans
