About the opportunity
The Senior Photographer is instrumental in driving sales through producing hi-end in-house visual assets for both the Marketing and Design teams. This role focuses on creative cross-category lifestyle photography showcasing new and existing ranges to the customer via media, including print, digital, and video production across various platforms.
Reporting directly to the Design, Studio and Packaging Controller, the Senior Photographer manages the set-up of lifestyle shoots, captures imagery, and ensures post-production and re-touching are completed per the brief provided.
You will work alongside designers and artworkers, providing consistent imagery for packaging that elevates the brand and communicates products to the customer. This role will provide flexible working between our Customer Support Centre in Walsall and remote working.

What you'll be doing...
- Lead a studio and work as part of a busy, fast, passed design team to meet all deadlines.
- Manage the set-up of lifestyle shoots, capturing imagery and ensuring post-production and re-touching is completed per the brief provided.
- Work alongside the Marketing team to produce cross-category lifestyle photography showcasing new and existing ranges to the customer via media, including print, digital, and video production.
- Responsible for all the imagery produced by the photography studio.
- Focuses on creative cross-category lifestyle photography, including lifestyle interiors and model photography. Showcasing new and existing ranges to the customer via media, including print, digital, and video production.
- Creative lifestyle photography and high-end re-touching for the Christmas look book.
- Works alongside designers and artworkers, providing consistent Hi-end imagery for packaging that elevate the brand and communicate products to the customer.
- Support the Design, Studio & Packaging Controller with finding new talent and new ways of working to deliver world-class photography and identifying in-house capabilities and opportunities to continue to involve the excellence of the Design & Packaging team.
- Manage the studio spaces and maintain the equipment used in the CSC, on location and in the Wolverhampton studios.
What you'll need...
Skills:
- Creative Digital photography covering product, lifestyle and model
- Creative Studio lighting for product, interiors, lifestyle and model photography
- Creative Image Retouching using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom
- Digital video production
- Digital video editing using premiere pro/final cut
- Highly Organised
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills to forge positive working relationships
- Leadership & people management skills
Experience
- Five years working full-time in a commercial studio as a product and lifestyle photographer.
- At least two years of professional image retouching experience.
- Experience leading and managing photographers in a busy high-volume design team environment.
- Experience in managing multiple projects and deadlines.
