AUDIT SENIOR – Ringwood - Flexible working
Our client an independent Chartered Certified Accountancy practice in Ringwood seeks to employ an Audit Senior for their team
This role can be based in the office with the option of Hybrid working. The busy period for academy audits is October and November when you may ask you to work more hours than standard. In return there is flexibility during the other months and would consider term-time working or a part time position.
Role requirements
- Minimum 2-4 years auditing and accounting experience.
- ACA/ACCA/AAT qualification (preferable but not essential).
- Significant auditing experience.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of CCH or other accounts production packages
- Experience of using sage; QuickBooks and other accounting packages;
- Excellent client relationship skills including working at clients premises.
As the Audit Senior your role will be as follows:
- Preparing financial statements from clients trial balance
- Auditing all areas of financial statements and preparing audit files for review
- Taking responsibility for all work allocated communicating with manager and partner as necessary
- Meeting deadlines in an efficient and effective way
- Committed to work as part of a team, with a positive attitude and enthusiasm to help others and take initiative when needed
- Communicating to all stakeholders with kindness, respect and supporting your team to succeed
- Ability to provide on-the-job training for team members when appropriate
- Capacity to work on numerous jobs simultaneously
- Desire to be part of a dynamic team.

Salary/benefits
Annual salary £30K - £42K depending on experience
Salary review annually in July
Paid overtime or time off in lieu
