Job description
We are currently looking for a phlebotomists with a minimum of two years phlebotomy experience to work in our very busy Phlebotomy, Anticoagulant, In Patients and Outpatients services
The locations of our services are
Luton and Dunstable hospital in patient wards, adult and paediatric out patient departments
Arndale house in Luton shopping mall
The Travel lodge, Dunstable Road, Luton.
You will be part of a developing team working in a very busy and essential area of the Bedford hospitals Trust.
Duties will include:
- Taking blood samples from out patients and In Patients.
- Carrying out general departmental duties.
This is a Band 3 pro rata post working 37.5 hours per week.
Hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am - 12.30pm
Working Saturday/ Sunday and Bank Holidays for 4 hours, on a staff Rota system.
Bank posts are available to work on an if and when necessary basis.
