FTTP Network Engineer

As a Network Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to assist our clients as they transition to our fibre broadband service, providing an outstanding five-star installation experience from beginning to end. You will be involved in the installation of our FTTP network and will help customers diagnose and resolve issues while ensuring reliable connectivity, thereby ensuring an overall exceptional customer experience. Our goal is to exceed expectations and deliver exceptional service to all our customers.

Main Responsibilities Include
- In this role, you will be responsible for delivering quality installations, providing technical support and prioritising the health and safety of customers, the public, and yourself in accordance with the latest guidance.
- Conducting tests and assessments to troubleshoot network problems and identify areas for improvement
- In cases where issues arise, you will take ownership of these issues and work collaboratively with the team to resolve them promptly, ensuring that documentation is created as necessary.
- Help drive improvements by delivering network build to a high standard, reporting to the site supervisor on daily performance.
- Call out and weekend working may be required.
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Experience working on a PIA network and familiar with CPO8, CP10 documentation.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills with senior management and colleagues within the team.
- Ability and confidence to work at height.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- This role requires exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and network architects while maintaining quality and service standards.
- Experience in carrying out end to end FTTP installations including splicing.
- SA001, SA002, K008, N028, N023 N027, NRSWA Unit 2 certifications are required.
- Full UK Driving License.
