What you will be doing

We’re looking for an experienced People Analyst (m/f/d) to join our People team at Pesonio. This critical role will help us gather, analyse and provide insights with the growing volume of data on Personio’s own people and internal products. You’ll work across some of our core people products and teams including hiring, performance reviews, reward, workforce planning, engagement and other employee lifecycle surveys. You’ll also use your advanced analytical skills and other analytical tools (such as tableau) to help us understand our data better, and can explain the story that sits behind our people data.

Data and insight is your passion and day to day you’ll produce and improve our existing people dashboards, across the full employee life-cycle. You will take the lead when it comes to enabling us to measure and increase organizational effectiveness by ensuring we are measuring the right things in the right way. As a key partner you will own collating and preparing data for specific projects or ad-hoc requests from within the people team. You’ll work closely with colleagues in other teams who enable Personio including Finance, Legal and our CEO office. This is a new role for us and you will have a hand in shaping it into a way to be most valuable to Personio!

  • Leverage Tableau, our BI platform to enhance, build and evolve our existing dashboards and assure we are always up-to-date and accurate

  • Collaborate with the People Leadership team and our analytics engineers in understanding business logic and creating generalized data models for business-driven use cases

  • Help define our people data roadmap and help evolve our products and services for our stage of growth

  • Enable data led decision making across the whole company by making our people metrics visible, easy to access and transparent

  • Partner with TA to support ongoing operational analytics efforts (e.g., recruiting funnel analysis; key TA metrics and target adherence). Ensure best practices are followed for data tracking and capture

  • Help us upskill and educate our leaders to draw insight from their people data to help make informed, strategic people decisions. Work with the People Partners to draw attention to this and drive action

  • Identify and prepare analysis and insights that are relevant across the People team and prioritize them within the People & Data roadmap

  • Work with our product teams to identify improvements in the reporting ability of our core product

  • Build and own key people metric reports for our Executive team

  • Own people analytics internally as our Product owner facing off to multiple stakeholders

  • Drive/oversee cross-functional projects/initiatives from development through to execution, bringing together multiple stakeholders to help drive decisions and ensure alignment

  • Be a culture champion, building strong connections at all levels of the business in order to identify, surface, and execute on areas of culture and organizational change

This role can be based in London or remotely within the UK.

What you need to succeed

You’re a passionate and driven data expert with a background working in high-growth, product or service led international technology companies. You’ll have built up your experience over several years in a similar role(s).

This will help you to deal with ambiguity, shifting priorities and come up with innovative solutions at pace. Ideally you’ll have worked with HR and other types of sensitive data previously.

You have:

  • +3-4 years of experience as Data/Business Intelligence Analyst, preferably supporting the people domain

  • Strong SQL skills and experience with BI/Visualization tools, like Tableau or Looker

  • An analytical mindset, with the intellectual curiosity to search for context and insights behind data and the numbers

  • A good understanding of best practice in people analytics and key people analytics drivers

  • Good communication skills and the ability to share your data observations and insights to tell a story with your stakeholders, on all levels

  • Experience designing and analyzing people surveys

  • A product focused person who likes engaging with multiple stakeholders

  • Good networker to identify new projects with stakeholders and foster knowledge sharing amongst your peers
