The role

This is a Hybrid role which will require weekly visits to our head office in London. Reporting to the Global Head of Commercial Grocery, your responsibilities will include:

  • Contribute to three to five year strategy, identifying key opportunities and challenges for Grocery operations globally

  • Support product prioritisation process through identification of key needs across Operations and build of supporting business cases

  • Close collaboration with multiple internal stakeholders (including Commercial, Product, Marketing, Strategy, Finance) to achieve objectives by seeking continuous improvement of our key metrics and solving crucial operational challenges.

  • Drive cost reductions, often via novel solutions, to improve profitability

  • End-to-end problem solving; actively seeking out opportunities investigating abnormal trends and patterns, diagnosing a root cause, and implementing a fix.

  • Strategic decision-making and input into the future of operations across Grocery for Deliveroo


Requirements

  • Stakeholder management and Communication - communicate effectively upwards and downwards, making even the most complex information clear.

  • Analytical and strategic - able to 'think big' and execute 'on-the-fly' via understanding the dynamics of our business

  • Inquisitive and forward-thinking - curious, thoughtful and happy to question the status-quo. Keeps pushing for further improvements

  • Project management - Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders in a structured and logical way. Always deliver the right work at the right time

  • Can build "stuff" - approaches, processes, tools and structured change methodologies

  • Delivery - able to autonomously scope and deliver on unstructured work. Proactively identify opportunities for impact and address them

  • Experience managing complex projects across lots of different stakeholders.
