What you will be doing...
Desktop Support Engineer (24/7), based at Holiday House in Leeds City Centre. This is a hybrid role with the ability and scope to work flexibly from home.
Reporting to the IT Service-Desk Manager, our Desktop Support Engineer will work as part of a 24/7 team of highly skilled first and second-line support engineers, providing technical support to the technology-enabled workforce within Jet2.com and Jet2Holidays. There is an opportunity to be involved in project work and potential overseas travel, Working as One Team to Create Memories for our valued customers, both internal and external.
What will you do in the role?
Your responsibilities would include ownership of Incidents and Service Requests raised by our user community, mostly via phone but also via email and self-service channels. You will also: -

- Be expected to quickly and effectively perform known, first-time fixes
- Liaise with other technical resolver teams and duly escalate any ongoing issues appropriately and professionally
- Share knowledge of technical fixes with colleagues and other teams
What are the key skills/experience you’ll already have?
Our Desktop Support Engineer will be a good "all-rounder" with experience of resolving issues on various different types of devices. You will also: -
- Be used to adhering to good / best practice
- Have effective triage/workload/time management and great customer service skills
- Demonstrate strong people skills
- Have a good working knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, Office 365, VPN, networking and incident management skills.
- Have previous experience in publishing knowledge articles
- Experience using Servicenow is preferable

Please note you will need to be available for a rolling 24/7 shift pattern, this could include nights and weekend
