Location: Cambridge/Hybrid – minimum two days per week in the office in Cambridge, UK.

Contract: Permanent/Full Time

We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic, quality driven person to join the IELTS Operations team as a Senior Operations Manager. This person will be full of initiative and thrive in an exciting changing environment, be motivated by process improvement and gaining insight through data and will work as a key player in supporting a high performing team.

About the role

This role is crucial to the success of IELTS and will own the results management and processing function. Ensuring we do everything we can to release accurate results on time. You will use reporting and data to improve our processes and monitor performance of our systems and processes. As a senior team member, you will feed into strategic decision making and take a leading role in solving issues.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • You will take full responsibility of the results management of the IELTS test
  • Represent Cambridge in cross partner working groups and negotiate on new processes
  • You will be a key player in proactively taking on new systems and processes and establishing them in your teams work
  • You will use data and reporting to monitor system and process performance diligently and proactively

About you

You will be enthusiastic about system and process change in order to benefit our customers. The successful applicant will be proactive, data and quality driven with a good eye for detail. Someone who has managed complex processes and is not afraid of feeding into the development of new systems and processes which will help to grow our place in the market. You will understand risk management and can identify areas of improvement to mitigate risks.
