An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Morgan Stanley’s very successful oil trading team as a senior oil trader in London. The successful candidate will complete the 6 person London oil trading team, trading across the oil barrel.

What will you be doing?
- You will be managing an oil trading book, and free to trade across the oil barrel (linear and options).
- You will be in charge of maintaining price curves and quoting corporate and hedge fund clients in your area of specialization, with the aim of growing our successful existing franchise.
- You will contribute your extensive knowledge to the team’s existing fundamental analysis and share your knowledge with global team as well as our clients when required.
Where will you be working?
Morgan Stanley’s London office is at 20 Bank Street in Canary Wharf.

QUALIFICATIONS
What we’re looking for:
- We are looking for a senior trader with extensive experience in oil derivatives trading, with a track record of taking risk and generating P&L. Experience of managing a flow book is a plus, but not a requirement.
- We are looking for a candidate with extensive fundamental knowledge of the oil and refined product markets, capable of generating market views and trading ideas on the back of it.
- We’re looking for a highly quantitative candidate, comfortable working in a high pressure team based environment.
