Senior Backend Engineer – Node – Greenfield

I am currently working with a high growth fintech that has received global success for their proprietary financial allowing them to achieve unicorn status in a short period of time. As part of their ongoing success they are opening a brand new EMEA hub and looking for strong senior backend engineers with some experience in Node to join the team and help build a variety of Greenfield projects.

Job Description

The Role

As a senior backend engineer working for this high growth fintech in its brand new EMEA engineering hub you will play a key role in setting engineering culture while architecting and building greenfield projects. As a senior backend engineer for this client you will primarily work in node to deliver brand new products to market. You’ll work as part of a cross functional team to deliver complex backend services with customers in Mind.

Even more importantly as one of the first members of the team shaping the engineering culture of the London Office.

About You As a senior backend engineer for this high growth Fintech – You will have a variety of skills that will enable you to succeed in the role. • You will have 3 + years’ experience in software engineering role in any language • You will have 6 months plus experience in node.js / typescript • You will be willing to work with node going forward. • Interested in working on greenfield projects. • Experienced in microservices architecture. • Interested in setting the engineering culture at a fintech Unicorn!!! As a senior backend engineer for this high growth fintech you can earn upto £120,000 plus a range of impressive benefits. This is a hybrid role with 2 days a week in their central London office!
