Our Senior Marketing Manager - In-Store Marketing will make a significant contribution to delivering effective Marketing Communications that build the brand and drive sales.
They will lead and drive the end-to-end planning and delivery of our in-store marketing strategy, optimising the efficiency and effectiveness of our in-store communication fueled by data.
The successful candidate will drive the relationship with our Retail team, centrally and in the field, to inform recommendations and continuous improvement in our in-store marketing communications, with a strong focus on delivering operational and executional excellence.
They will also drive the relationship with our Customer Planning and Commercial teams to ensure our content is reflective of our Customer plan and strategy and prioritise accordingly.
In this role you’ll lead the business to become more customer led in their decision making in order to improve the impact and cut through of our communication with customers in-store and to drive sales.
This is a full-time role operating across a four day working week*. This role is based at our fantastic head office in Bradford, boasting an on-site restaurant, coffee shop, convenience and sample store, prayer room, free parking and regular company-wide events and promotions. Ideally, applicants will live within a reasonable distance of our office.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Shape and deliver a point-of-sale strategy aligned to the in-store customer journey, recommending optimal use and hierarchy of commodities and messaging.
Ensure the team is utilising our customer strategy to define in-store communication priorities and content.
Continuously monitor competitor and wider market in-store communications activity to inform recommendations and continuous improvement in what we do.
Generate revenue by identifying and creating opportunities to sell in-store assets to suppliers whilst ensuring this complements our own marketing.
Engaging cross-functional teams to drive the efficiency and effectiveness of what and how we communicate in-store e.g retail ops, customer & trade planning, commercial, space & range, finance.
Managing our in-store marketing budget, ensuring strong financial governance and compliance across the team and ensuring no overspend.
Managing our relationship with our print supplier and identifying opportunities to deliver cost savings without compromising our communication.
Actively driving opportunities for progression for team members.
Actively participating in a high performing, engaged team – championing teamwork and contributing to team tasks.
Listening to customers and colleagues and responding quickly where possible
